Best Newcomer 2017

During the Professional Lighting Designers Conference (PLD-C) in Paris in November 2017, I received the international award for “Best Newcomer” in lighting design.

Design contest “The Future of Urban Lighting”

UrbanSenses, a collaboration of C.Light.Wise with Maryam Aghajani, Alina Lavrinenko, and Christin Petzold won first prize in the international design contest “The Future of Urban Lighting” with “Urban Light Ground”. This prize was awarded during the PLD-C in Paris in 2017.

40 under 40

In 2017, I was nominated and recognised as one of the 40 most passionate lighting designers under 40 years old. 40 under 40 is an international program which presents the most talented and promising designers in the lighting industry.

Light Challenge 2015

In 2015, I coached the winning team “SpOt” during that year’s edition of the Light Challenge. Four students of the Industrial Product Design program at Windesheim Flevoland created an illumination design for the “Markt” in Almere Haven.
